GPS art of a snake, drawn at a Hatsumode spot in Nachikatsuura🐍✨
This GPS art course takes visitors to the area around Hakuja Benzaiten Shrine, a famous Hatsumode (New Year’s visit) spot in Nachikatsuura, where you can draw a snake, the animal of the Chinese zodiac.
Hakuja Benzaiten in Nachikatsuura Town, Wakayama Prefecture, is known as a sacred place that brings good luck for money. Hakuja Benzaiten is enshrined on Bentenjima Island in Nachi Bay. The island is inaccessible during normal times, but visitors can walk across at low tide. When the tide is high, it is not possible to walk back, so please be careful when visiting!
In 2025, Hakuja Benzaiten may become another popular spot. Please try it during your first visit to the shrine🐍✨
