This 11km GPS art course invites you to sketch a Ptarmigan, starting from the futuristic high-rise district at Osaka Business Park Station and tracing a grand loop around the majestic castle’s outermost rings before winding into the inner plum groves.

The urban journey begins near the scenic Shiromiryokudo Park, the Sanno Art Museum, and Matsushita IMP Hall. Heading east and circling south along the colossal moats, you will pass premier cultural venues like Cool Japan Park Osaka WW Hall, the Osakajo Ongakudo open-air theater, and the PEACE OSAKA museum. To the southwest, the route unveils the ancient roots of Naniwa-no-Miya-Ato Park and the Osaka Museum of History, before guiding you past the imposing Ōte-mon Gate and the Osaka Prefectural Government Office. Running along the northern perimeter near the historic Osaka Artillery Arsenal Factory ruins and Osaka-Jo Hall, you will cross the Gokuraku-bashi Bridge into the inner citadel to discover the legendary Rennyo Pine Tree and the beautifully fragrant Plum Grove.
