The journey immerses you in Kyoto’s rich heritage, crossing Shijō Bridge toward the willow-lined cobbles of Shirakawa Canal and the interactive Japan Kanji Museum & Library. Exploring downtown’s dynamic alleys, you will pass the bustling stalls at Nishiki Market, Nishiki Tenmangu Shrine, and SAMURAI NINJA MUSEUM Kyoto. The path guides you through cultural landmarks such as The Museum of Kyoto, scent heritage at Kunjyukan, Kyoto International Manga Museum, and historic Kōdō Gyōgan-ji Temple. Continuing toward the vast greenery of Kyoto Gyoen National Garden, the route incorporates Hosomi Museum, sacred Kumano Shrine, and the academic campus of Kyoto University.
