GPS art of the place name “Misato” drawn in Misato City✨
This is a series of GPS art courses that draw the place name “Misato” in Misato City, Saitama.
In 1956, Misato Village, the predecessor of Misato City, was established. The name “Misato (三郷)” was derived from the Chinese characters “san (三)” (from the merger of three villages, Towa, Hikonari, and Waseda) and “go (郷)” (from the area formerly known as “Nigo hanryo (二郷三領)”). With the development of the transportation network, the area developed as a bedroom community. This section depicts a tour of the residential area in the northern part of Misato Station. You will be able to experience the atmosphere of the town that developed during the high growth period. Please take a stroll and give it a try!
