GPS art of the place name “Fujimino” drawn in Fujimino City✨
This is a series of GPS art courses that draw the place name “Fujimino” in Fujimino City, Saitama.
In 2005, Kamifukuoka City and Oi Town merged to form Fujimino City. The city name was inspired by the station name “Fujimino station” which was created in 1993 during the merger campaign by four surrounding cities and towns. The merger campaign was unsuccessful and the location of the station is in Fujimi City, which is located next to Fujimino city, so it is very confusing.
This course draws in the middle of Fujimino city. The course is centered on Route 254, which runs north-south, and takes you around the residential area from east to west. Uniformed roadside stores peculiar to suburban bed towns and new and old streets running parallel to each other. If you want to enjoy the atmosphere of a suburb close to Tokyo, please give it a try!
