Tokorozawa Aviation Memorial Park is a spacious park that utilizes the site of Japan’s first airfield, and is one of the most famous cherry blossom viewing spots in Tokorozawa City. Approximately 500 Someiyoshino, Yamazakura, and Oshima-zakura cherry trees are planted in the park, and in spring, the park is decorated mainly with Someiyoshino cherry trees. The park is also home to the Aviation Museum, where visitors can enjoy exhibits related to airplanes.
The cherry blossom season is usually from late March to early April. There is also a space to enjoy barbecue while viewing the cherry blossoms, so be sure to enjoy it while you are enjoying GPS art🌸
