GPS art of the place name “Kawasaki” drawn in Kawasaki Ward✨
This is a series of GPS art courses that draw the place name “Kawasaki” in Kawasaki Ward, Kawasaki.
The origin of the name Kawasaki is related to its location in the Tama River delta. “Kawa (川)” refers to the Tama River flowing next to it, and “saki (崎)” refers to a place where sand accumulates and protrudes out to the sea side. In the early Edo period (1603-1867), “Kawasaki Shuku” was established as the second inn on the Fifty-three Stations of the Tokaido Highway, and since then it has been a bustling place for people to come and go.
You can visit Kawasaki Daishi, one of the most popular tourist attractions in Kawasaki City, and the Kawasaki Bicycle Racetrack. Please enjoy this tour as a new type of sightseeing in Kawasaki!
