GPS art drawn on a spectacular view of cherry blossoms adorning the lakeside✨
GPS art of cherry blossoms in Senba Park, a famous cherry blossom viewing spot in Mito City, Ibaraki Prefecture.
Senba Park is one of the most famous cherry blossom viewing spots in Mito City, and is centered around Senba Lake. In spring, the approximately 750 Someiyoshino cherry trees that adorn the shores of the lake are in full bloom, and the beautiful rows of cherry trees attract visitors. The scenery of cherry blossoms reflected on the surface of the lake is also exceptional, making it an attractive place to enjoy cherry blossom viewing while strolling or jogging.
The cherry blossom season is from late March to early April each year, when the “Mito Cherry Blossom Festival” is held. The cherry blossoms are lit up at night, and the nighttime cherry blossoms on the south side of Senba Lake are a particularly popular spot. The scenery of water and cherry blossoms is a typical spring scene in Mito🌸
