GPS art of demons, drawn in the land of demons✨
Fuku wa uchi! This is a GPS art course where you can draw demons on places named after demons.
This GPS artwork is to be painted on Onijima (鬼島) in Fujieda City, Shizuoka Prefecture. Onijima is crisscrossed by the Tokaido Route and intersected by the Hanashi River in the center of the village. The village itself is mentioned in a 1549 document as Onijima Village. With the nearby inn towns of Fujieda-juku and Tanaka Castle, the village developed as a settlement near the center of the Tanaka clan.
Because the Tokaido Road runs through the village, it has a history of development as a settlement along the highway. It would be fun to stroll around the area while looking back on those days. Hope you will give it a try.
