This GPS art course takes you to the area around Hakuryu Daigongen, a Niigata’s spot associated with snakes, where you can draw a snake, the animal of the Chinese zodiac.
Hakuryu Daigongen in Niigata City is located in the center of the Honmachi Central Market shopping district (Ninjo Yokocho). There is a stone statue of a snake in the precincts of the temple, which was founded in 2014 based on a legend about the appearance of the deity. It is said to bring good luck in bringing men and women together, as well as people to people.
