Your journey begins at Nagano Station, the city’s main transportation hub. From there, the route leads you to Karakayasan Saikōji Temple, a historic temple that has long been a place of local devotion and a window into Nagano’s deep spiritual heritage. Continuing on, you’ll pass near Shinshu University, where the lively student atmosphere adds a modern contrast to the city’s traditional character.
Midway through the course, you’ll stroll through the nostalgic yet bustling Gondo Shopping Street.
